I am smoking my 1st butt tomorrow morning on my ECB that I won.  I have read a lot and I hope it turns out well.

Welcome to smf, you can find tons of info here on smoking your butt, just remember you can't rush it, low and slow, be prepared for it to hit a plateau cause it will, and good luck.

Welcome to our SMF family!  What part of NY?  I'm originally from Adams Center, NY (near Watertown) for 46 years, then moved to Fort Worth, Tx. - from the ice block to the frying pan! lol!

My smoke went very well and tasted great.  When I pulled the pork and saw that smoke ring, I felt like a kid on Christmas.  Thanks to all for your tips on this site.

Pops, you aren't kidden, I was just down in Killeen for the last two weeks and when I walked out of the airport a couple of Monday's ago it was still 108* at 5 p.m.!! LOL
