Hello all, just wanted to drop in and give a introduction and say hi.

Been BB-Quing for some years for my own personal pleasure and for those whom like to eat.

Started dabbling in BBQ when I was stationed in England and had a few parties.  Started on a Brinkman long smoker with the side box and produced some really good brisket and butts.  Moved on to Texas and picked up some pointers there from various folks using the same smoker for about the next ten years.  Moved here to NC in 2011.

Currently using the Kamado Joe (Big Joe) wife got for me last year for my birthday.

I have done 5 or 6 butts on the Joe and will be doing a brisket this weekend.  Hopefully from what i have learned from the past will apply to this cook and have some good eats this weekend.

Look forward to talking to you all and gathering information and sharing ideas and recipes!

Thanks,  Qdog66
