Hello my name is Jason and I am from Moore Oklahoma..My wife just got me a new electric Cookout cajun injector smoker!

Well I am seasoning the new smoker right now as we speak. So I am going to try my first hand at smoking some food this week for the family, like the Christmas food !! Any Ideas on the smoke turkey and any other foods would be great! Thanks

First off Welcome Jason to SMF. You'll like it here for there are alot of really good folks here that would just love to help you with just about anything to do with smoking. Now there are alot of proven recipes for some amazing things here too. So if you need sign up for the E-Course it's free and it will give you the basics of smoking and some good methods to use also. So the next big thing for you to do is go out and get you something to smoke and if you happen to have any questions just post it here and we will be happy to answer them for you.

I am doing a dry run tonight. I am just cooking the wood chips and water to see how long it will be in between to add more or less for the big dinner Saturday.

As I am doing this it is seasoning my new smoker  lol!
