Hey fellow smokers, Gary here.

I'm new to the forum, but not to smoking meat.  I got started as a teenager helping my dad build our smokehouse in south TX.  Almost every other weekend it would be full of homemade sausage, chickens, turkeys, pork or jerky.  I've since moved a little farther north to the edge of the great piney woods. Been getting by with a Master Forge propane smoker for the past few years, but It seems I've got this itch lately to build my own smokehouse again...lol.  I'm looking forward to checking out all the great pictures and recipes here on the forum and maybe even sharing a few of my own.
