Lafayette La.
My name is Alan LaFleur from Lafayette La. I am mostly finished building a smoker to use this weekend to smoke some sausage and boudin. Having a boucherie at the house.
This entire build has happened because I lurked on here for a week.
I have always used good old horizontal store bought smokers. This is a cajun day that we teach folks how to use all of a pig. From killing it to using the hooves.Music Included . Ill add a picture. Then ill post in the smokehouse form to get feedback on the way I did the bars for the sausage.
Glad you guys were here.

Welcome aboard, Alan! Glad you joined us. You've found a great place to learn and share ideas. Lots of friendly and knowledgeable folks here who enjoy helping one another. Good luck with that new smokehouse, and just ask when you need help and you'll get plenty.

Where should I post this question.....I am having trouble finfing the adapter to hook up a full size bottle to my colman 2 burner stove. That's what I am using as a heat sorce and the small bottles suck.

welcome Alan glad you found us. Really good people here willing to help .there are lots of folks that use propane burners on here.I don't recall anyone using a Coleman burner .My thoughts would be that it is to small to maintain temp. look around on here especially look for Pops his propane burner works great uses a standard propane bottle (blue Rhino etc.) and it won't break the bank.

I grew up just down the road from you in Rayne.

welcome

Jerry S.

I would say to check with your local propane dealer. They might can help. Can't say I have seen the kind of adapter you are needing.
