The wife and kids gave me an 18.5 inch WSM for Father's Day. I'm pretty excited to get started with it, but will hold off until next Saturday for my first smoke which should give me some time to read up a bit. It will be a new experience for me. I'm hoping my son and I can connect a bit through it!! I'm also hoping it will broaden my daughters palette....she is pretty picky in what she eats!!

I'm glad I found the forum and look forward to interacting with the members.

Welcome ! That is an excellent gift indeed. I had one of those for years and believe it to be one of the best smokers on the market. This is a great place so jump right in.
