I'm Shane from K/Falls Oregon,currently the land of snow and some-shine. we live at 4700 ft here and its high dessert style terrain. our family consists of my wife,myself our 2 year old son and 4 dogs. i have a smoke hollow electric smoker and enough racks to fill all the holes .I'm tired of buying jerky and we usually get a half a beef every year,so we decided to start making our own. on top of that we usually get 2 or more deer per year and the occasional elk. we always have beef left over so we figured why not smoke it.
