I have always been a fan of a good rub(never just done it myself) and had a chance to get my first Char-Grill horizontal Smoker for christmas.  Was looking for a good rub recipe when i ran across this web site.  It has got so much info it is almost overwhelming.  The most helpful part has been the ecourse.  So keep up the good work and lets smoke till our hearts content

Welcome to SMF!!!! Always great to see another member from the q capital of the world. There a ton of great information being disseminated by some of the most giving and high qualified people in the smoking world. The e-course is a great way to get started get your feet wet. Just after I joined I purchased the recipes that Jeff had mastered and I have done a little tweaking and now have about three different types to use. One of these days' I would like everyone in the KC area to get together and brain storm(my input will minimal since I am limited in the brain arena). Good Luck and I can't to see the q view.

First off Welcome LB to SMF. Jeff's rub is great and worth every penny I paid for it. You'll like it here for there are alot of really good folks here that would just love to help you with just about anything to do with smoking. Now there are alot of proven recipes for some amazing things here too. So if you need sign up for the E-Course it's free and it will give you the basics of smoking and some good methods to use also. So the next big thing for you to do is go out and get you something to smoke and if you happen to have any questions just post it here and we will be happy to answer them for you.
