Hi everyone,
I'm new to the forum and kind of new to meat curing. My family used to cure their own meat when I was a young kid but haven't done it in years. I'm basically starting over but I do have my great grandmothers brine and rub recipe's from the 1800's but they were just basic. I'm excited to try them out and cure some of my own meat. I look forward to learning from everyone here.

Good morning and welcome to the forum from a muggy wet day here in East Texas, and the best site on the web. Lots of great people with tons of information on just about everything.
