Hello everyone. I am just starting in my smoking meats career. I'm learning a lot and look forward to this new adventure. I love to cook and I love BBQ so it was only natural to learn how to make my own. I am currently just using a Weber Kettle and getting pretty impressive results thanks to forums like this.

Welcome to SMF! And the Weber Kettle is a great grill/smoker! I use mine on a weekly basis! If you haven’t already, check out what is available for the Weber kettle accessories wise: Vortex, Smoke n’ Sear, and the rotisserie.
Again welcome, and have fun!

Welcome fellow Hoosier to SMF! Plenty of us here to pull ideas from.

Welcome to the board from next door in Ohio! Yes the Webers can smoke well, so they make a good do-it-all smoker/grill. I'm running a 22 with the M date code on the top vent, meaning it's from 1990.

Welcome to the forums, most of my smaller quicker smokes on done on my Kettles.

Chris
