Hi. I'm from Iloilo and want to try making my own smoke ribs and brisket. What wood are you using? Are you using local woods? I'm trying to build my own off set smoker. :). TIA

Did you ever find a source of wood for smoking? I have been living in Butuan City for awhile now. I sent over a balikbayon box about half full of different kind of wood chips from the USA. But am trying to find another source as I know these won't last forever. I saw some on lazada, but way to expensive. Also some larger bags on Olx,, but I see they are not listed anymore....no ace hardware here ....
