Hello from a newcomer

Hi. New to smoking meat. My wife bought me an electric smoker for Christmas, so once the snow melted away I fired it up. So far, so good. Trying a few different woods vs meats, so. Hope to pick up some good tips here. I live in northern NY state in Saranac Lake.
