Was on the internet searching around for unique appetizers to make in the smoker (Masterbuilt) for Thanksgiving and stumbled upon this site.

My name is Tom, I live in Maple Valley WA.  I grew up on a farm in KS. where we had a very large smoke house where we smoked a lot of traditional items for curing to keep for use throughout the year (stuff like whole hams, etc).. This was a way of life then and not nearly as colorful as it has become these days.

I would say I am an accomplished griller but just scratching the surface in the smoker arena so I am here to learn and get new ideas.

Thanks for having me - Tom
