Hi there ladies and gentlemen my name is victor blanco I am from dickinson TX and I love bbq it's my passion . I am a work in progress but getting better by the minute . Just did Thanksgiving dinner 2015 I smoked a turkey and deep fried one and let me tell you it was a success. Glad to be a part of this forum I look foward to exchanging some tips and great experiences in the bbq world thank you .

Welcome Victor!

I also smoked and fried turkeys for Thanksgiving.  My guests and myself are still undecided as to which one was better.  I know the clean up for the fried was a much larger pain then the smoked.  I used the leftover charcoal to smoke some ribs tonight!
