Hello all. I am new to this forum

Hello my name is Adam and i am from Arizona.I just got my first smoker for xmas and have done about 8 different things on my smoker so far. I have really enjoyed it so much. Relaxing but challenging sometimes. I have made about 4 batches of jerky so far using 3 different types of wood. Apple so far is my favorite. I am looking to get ideas from other people about different ideas of recipes to different meats to use. I am up for anything at this point.

I have had alot of friends over for parties and they have enjoyed the whole smoker idea and have a buddy building a 2 55 gallon barrel smoker .1 side ways on top and 1 vertical to hold the top barrel. Its coming along nicely.

I look forward to hearing from everyone. And anyone from the Phoenix scottsdale area please send me a message so  we can exchange ideas or recipes or just get together and smoke different things.

Dexter, Thanks for the response. I already feel at home here and its just begun. It will take awhile to roam around the site to read and look at pictures that everyone has posted. I have alot of pictures on my iphone that i need to uplard so i can post. Nothing big but at least people can see whats going on over here.
