HEB has pork butts for .97 pound

Here in SouthEast Texas the HEB stores have pork butts for .97 per pound with an additional $10 purchase. Limit 2 per person. I just picked up a couple for the freezer.

Wow, I was in there today to get cat food and beer.  Only one of those is for me so stop laughing.

I paid somewhere around $1.50ish just two weeks ago.  I guess I'll be back there tomorrow.  Thanks for the heads up.

I always try to keep 2 or 3 butts in the meat freezer. Never know when i might want to make sausage or pulled pork, Can;t pass them up at that price. Probably get a couple more this weekend.

Wow, I went to the store today They had Butts on Sale for $1.99  usually $2.99  I bought 2

I wish some of those good deals would come to Tyler

I went to HEB yesterday and nope, not that cheap.  They were marked $1.77 and had them in an end case with Masa and hog heads to make tamales.  Bummer.

They are on sale up here too about a week ago.  A clear indication that its Christmas Tamale Time!  I grabbed 2 of them while on sale.
