I recently finished my fridge conversion. At first I did not put an air vent in the bottom, but I just finished installing a 4"X4" adjustable vent in the bottom just over the element. I am currently using a Brinkman 1500 watt element that is ran off of the Auberins Dual Probe 1800 watt controller. Before the air vent I could reach temps up to 270*. Now it wont go over 220*. I am running the element off of 120 volt outlet. My question is if I have a 240 volt outlet installed outside and ran a 3000 watt strip heater would I get bigger temps even though it is still pulling the same amps? The controller says I can go max 1800 watts for 120 volt or 3300 watt for 240 volt. Thanks in advance for the help
