Here we go again and I don't want this to turn into a long thread as I have seen the thoughts of many of you as well as myself.
For those that are not pet lovers you won't understand.
It makes for a sad time and as I stated in many of the post we have a 20 year old dachshund and unfortunately she died yesterday.
She was a rescue pup.

Sorry to hear this Warren. It's never easy loosing a loved one.

Ver Sorry to hear, Warren.
20 years is a long time to be Buddies, and then have it end.

I am very sorry to hear your dog has died... Very sad and very hard to go though this.... 20 years - I am sure she lived a happy life and she loved you a lot.... and vice versa....

My heart goes out to you and your sweet departed little lady. You are awesome for taking on a rescue and loving her as much as I am certain that you did. She is waiting on the other side of the rainbow bridge for you to come home to her. Take care of yourself and remember all of those beautiful memories.

Very sorry to hear of your loss. I'm quite sure you gave her a very enjoyable life. Thoughts and Prayers.

So sorry for your loss. My avatar is a pic of our sweet girl, Clementine. She passed in early 2019 at the age of 13. It was pretty hard for us and we weren't sure if we'd ever bring another pup into our family.

However, last fall we were finally ready and rescued this guy, Henry: 20210311_170038.jpg

He's been a wonderful addition to the family.

Sorry to hear Warren, it is never good when it happens . No matter how old they are.
its 2 years tomorrow ( April 1st ) for my little girl Gabby, my Avatar. She was with me just about everyday for 16 years, still miss her every day.

So sorry Warren. It's never easy. 20 years is a great amount of time. The longest we've had one was a Cocker lived to be 18. Now we have 3, aged 14, 13, 7. Our hearts go out to you and your Family my friend.
