Has anyone used an iGrill thermometer?

Id be all over it if it had the dual probes like the Mav ET-732. I don't understand why more therm makers don't see the need for dual probes. Still looks like a very cool product..I am an apple geek so....

I actually bought the iGrill, but havent had a chance to test it out. It have dual probe action going on. but you have to pay extra for the second probe. I was going to use the a probe off my Mav, it look like it would fit. i will report back once i've used it.

cool. yeah I guess I should have read instead of just looking at the pretty pictures...plain as day "multiple probe support". I kept reading and it says the device has to stay awake for it to work? Don't know if I want my iphone or ipad staying "awake" for long smokes. Looking forward to your feedback after its first run!

So when will we see a therm that will just send you a text if your temps exceed a threshold? Since it is blue tooth, I would assume it could interface with a PC, given the proper software. Then you could easily generate a graph of temp variances during the entire run. Couple that with weather conditions and the result could be some pretty interesting data... surely that has been done before.

Well i wasnt really impressed with iGrill, it did a good job but for the price i kinda expected more.  My Mav ET-73 did better, it seemed to take more accurate reads.  The interface on the iPad is really cool.

Any updates on the iGrill?  Anyone get the dual probes working?  Quality of the product?  I have two digital wireless thermometers now, a weber and one from Brookstone which I'm sure was a weber as well.  Couldn't get either to work last weekend when I did my ribs . . . . .  Stick with the Maverick?
