My wife is taking these 60 and 4 dz to our daughters in GA on sat and then up to son in NC on way back for the 4 dz.

In the summer we get 12+ eggs a day, but only getting 1 egg a day now. That's normal for this time of year for free ranging birds. You can increase production if you have a light controlled coup. Otherwise you just take what you get.

We added a solar light to our coop and were able to keep our numbers up pretty high over winter. We also soaked our feed into a wet mash and used hot water in the winter so it was warm when the girls got it.
