Hamburgers and bell peppers, onion and Serrano in Lang warmer

wife and I all alone at home. Used the Lang warmer box to cook hamburgers and bell peppers, Serrano’s, and onions for dinner and tomorrow’s lunch. Less than an hour start to finish using oak.
 
See it's threads like these that makes me regret not getting a Lang deluxe model!

I didn’t want the warmer box. My wife made me get it. I am glad I did. Lang will let you add it if you want. Right up until they build it. You don’t have to pay until it ships either .

I wanted the warmer a little but not bad enough to justify adding $500 to the cost of what i ordered. they are just about done building mine...a 48 on patio cart (w/ 12" wheels)..and I'm happy with my selection it was that or another 36 except hybrid this time and i would rather get a bigger smoker than add a grill. Benjamin Lang told me earlier today they will be calling me early next week about delivery.

As a side note i was set to buy a 60D on trailer (used) but that fell through because i couldn't go get it. (wife broke her ankle and can't walk for a month) I'm just happy to get another lang because i sold my 36 three weeks ago and im dying to smoke on a LANG! there is nothing else like it! Pics of your smoker are awesome and keep me excited!

Question, what temps can you get in the warmer?

so far the highest I went was 340 when sausage was in there. I cooked at 320 yesterday. If I shut off the main chamber no problem reaching higher.
 
That is cool, I almost got a warmer on my Lang, but I didn't cause I didn't realize the temp would go that high.
Kinda wish I would have now!

I didn’t want one. My wife did, not because she uses it but because she thought it looked “cute”. Kind of weird but also kind of cool for me at least.
In order to get the higher temps out of the warmer there is a 250 upgrade damper that needs to be ordered at the same time. They don’t advertise it either so you pretty much have to know ahead of time. I got lucky because I searched the hell out of the net and saw it. There is another option the closes the main chamber off from the firebox Too. These top options allow you to have a stand alone vertical wood burning bbq perfect for the my wife and I. Or I can run the warmer same temp as the main chamber very easy. It will hold the same temp as the front gauge very easily
 
Well that is a great looking burger, And you just can't go wrong with smoked veggies, They are great. Like for me....

Damn you are really lucky. Mine took 9.5 weeks to get delivered.
