Nothing to big but further north of me got hammered. Had enough to get the snowblower out and clean up the driveway.
One thing you learn early in life is never piss into the wind, same goes for snowblowing

Yep, central ND took a hit also. I had about 3.5", 50 miles south of me took 8.5". Interstates were closed on eastern half of state. Many semi pile ups. Everyone driving to fast for conditions as usual.

ewwwww. Still nothing here in the Denver area. No snow accumulation. I don't think we've had flurries yet.

I got a new engine put in the snowblower back in late Sept. The mechanic also overhauled the old engine. So I have a backup now as well. A La Nina pattern has formed so I doubt we'll get much snow on the Eastern Plains this and that won't hurt my feelings any.

Got the JD ready yesterday. Calling for a storm to roll through starting tomorrow. Up to 12"in persistant areas. Weatherman speak for how in the hell do we know!

It's kind of a treat to blow with the JD. I just wish I could afford a blacktop driveway instead of tossing rocks around before it gets packed down a little. Have to keep the skids up as high as they go and still need to ride the lift pedal.

If the wind is in my favor. Then I enjoy getting out and doing it. I made it easier this year switching from mow to blow. I got a extra set of rear tires so I can keep the chains on those. Those chains were a real PITA!

That's a good idea. The chains are a bugger but necessary. Kicked around the idea of a cab but haven't taken the leap. Usually at least 1.5 hrs for cleanup and much more if the grader doesn't make our loop right away. Have had to blow out for the neighbors to get out many times.
