Finally have some time on my hands, so I figured some jerky would be good.
Ground some lean roasts from the commissary and set aside 5 lbs
Recipe-
5lbs Ground Beef
1 Cup Cold Water
1 TSP Cure #1
4 TSP Kosher Salt
1 TBS Turbinado Sugar
1 TSP Ground Mustard
3 TSP Coarse Grind Black Pepper
1 TBS Paprika
1 TSP Onion Powder
1 TSP Garlic Powder
2 TBS Crushed Red Pepper
Curing overnight, run thru the LEM Jerky Canon, then into smoker tomorrow with some B&B pellets in the AMAZN smoke tray.
