Took out some homemade ground brisket empanadas out of the freezer last night for dinner.

I love Empanadas, Samosas, Jamaica meat patties, etc.

Easy recipe.

Ground meat of your choice or even PP
Salt
Pepper
Sofrito to taste
Empanada rounds you can get them frozen at wally by the spanish stuff. made by goya. I like the orange ones.

I'm 1600 miles north of you so no Empanada dough from the big blue store. Frozen pie dough works in a pinch if you don't want to make it yourself.
Filling is a personal preference. I like Jamaican with beef and hot chilies. I also like Indian with (maybe chicken) chilies, chickpeas, and potato
