Just wondering how effective the GrillGrates are/would be on my Camp Chef Smoke Pro? We're getting ready to re-do our back deck and I'd like to dump my old propane grill, or at least move it down to the patio and into a reserve role for parties, etc. when I need more cooking space. I do have the Sidekick on my CC and that will be big enough for when it's just me and the wife, but just having another couple or my kids over would cause me to need some extra cooking space. So how effective are the GrillGrates on their own? I've been looking at the SearDaddy, too but even then I think I'd need a different set of grates because the extreme high heat might not be so good for the OEM grids that came with the Camp Chef. I was trying to find a set of Camp Chef's cast iron replacements but it looks like they are discontinued and are pretty much impossible to find. The other things that concern me with the SearDaddy are storage when not in use and I wonder about grease dripping down into and damaging the burn pot and element. It looks to me like the GrillGrates are supposed to sit on top of the existing grates on the pellet grill so I guess I'm questioning just how hot they really get.
