Finished product really juicy.  My pops liked it so I was happy.

A little pink inside and charged on the outside but thats how my pops likes it,  internal temp was 140-145 give or take.

Hope i did the Q view right

I love the Tritip as a roast and have not tried it this way. I will have to give this a shot.

The grill was about 15 mins, quick and easy meal with a lot of flavor.  In my neck of the woods tri tips are sold mostly like these, I want to try the roast next.  For this grill I have no decision in the meat selection due to the fact this is what my father wanted to eat for fathers day, these were from cost co and tasted great.

looks good to me! Maybe try some chips in a foil pack to add a little smoke flavor to the tri tip YUMMY
