Grilled Chicken ~ Foamheart (Lets start the weekend off right!)

Not a lot to say, rubbed everything with wine vinegar & peanut oil, Salt & pepper. Nothing special. Grilled over pecan wood till the skin crisped and the thighs were done but juicy. I didn't want to cook inside any sides, but made a cool cucumber salad. So I added the garlic, fresh spring onion and sliced carrots to the pit. It was delightful.

No plated picture, I wasn't fast enough. You know you are doing it right when all the dogs and cats in the neighborhood were all sitting or laying around the pit area....LOL

Did I mention that was Elephant garlic? Very very sweet mild garlic, but pretty large toes. I sat the Coors bottle next to it so you could understand the size. I figured more here would know the size of a bottle of beer than anything else. LOL



Elephant garlic, I bet those Texans would be claiming it as theirs.



Garlic (1 toe cut into 1/3's) below the carrots, and onions on the other side of the thighs.

No bear pictures, was inhaled too quickly. Started by having to check the garlic taste for goness and this it was on! LOL..... Great start for the weekend!

I love garlic! I live in Louisiana, its a requirement.

First time I ever saw Elephant garlic, I was so amazed I bought all the store had and was driving around giving it away and mailing it to friends. My friends thought I had gone off the deep end. LOL

Brother in Law saw this in the grocery the other day and thought was funny, he knows how much I like garlic and him being from Washington thinks I have strange tastes. So he brought that to me. Secret about garlic, the bigger the sweeter and less pungent, the smaller the more potent and harsh.

Its always a good time for poultry! But the onion, garlic and carrots were amazing!

Garlic is a main part of my meals and snacks. Foamy I can eat plain cloves of garlic and do it all the time.

Garlic is good for you. Did you know that garlic and onions are the only living things that have jagged square cellular bodies? I always assumed that was why they make you cry.

My Pop could eat an onion like an apple!

If you ever see these, they are extremely mild. They were great on the grill!
