Hey guys and girls, 

     Blake from southeast Virginia here. New to the forum. I have been smoking (mostly ribs, pork butt, 1-2 briskest, wings and 1 set of short ribs) for maybe 2 years now. First in a hand-me-down charcoal barrel type with a bent lid that didn't seal. Recently my wife surprised me with a 30" MBES. I love it! Still working on dialing it it. 

     I'll be asking a lot of questions and learning a lot, possibly helping out when I can with my own experiences, but now I'm pretty much a blank slate.
