Greetings!

Been a lurker here for a while, but felt the need to join the community. Lots of great experience and good information being tossed around here.

I come from a Fabrication point of view, but in the last few years, I've moved to design work. Where I'm currently situated, welding, bending cutting (cnc plasma) is available.

In the past, I built an offset SFB trailer rig, but I no longer have it. I plan on revising the design, based on information I've learned here, and building V.2.

My love affair with BBQ (smoke) began as a spectator a competition. Best ribs I'd ever had, and was determined to recreate them. Now, many years later, I've run through the el-cheapo Brinkman's, some really bad store bought offsets, and the cooker I built. Time to get back into the swing.

I suspect I have a number of questions as I progress forward, but as I continue to read here, many are being answered.

Looking forward to posting some Q-pics in the near future!

Jay

Welcome to your new addiction (The forums)

This may be a lot of help as I (as well as many others) have used it for my/their builds..

Link to my build is in my signature ...

Doug, Keith, Jack - Thank you for the warm welcome.

Keith - SE Georgia, like near Columbus? Spent several uncomfortable months there training in the 80's!

Jack - Thank you for the link. I am very versed with that thread. It has been a wealth of knowledge!
