I have found that The smoke and the heat are the easiest part to this awesome lifestyle, it's the prep and cure (aka "the love") that make the difference between the part time "Treager guy" and a passionate and well practiced smoker. I started on and currently use a brinkman electric with the smoke pistol, I use blankets to keep my temp good. I was led here looking for advice on making my own smoke house as I am out growing my current set up, I am finding a wealth of info so far. I appreciate the opportunity to use your experience.
