Just found this site today and very glad I did as S2K9K and dirtsailor2003 have been quite helpful in making me feel confident about doing my first boston butt for a holiday party mid December. I am in Columbia SC and a proud USC Gamecock fan (dont hold that against me). One of my passions is cooking and have been doing so for quite awhile but I am just now getting into smoking after my loving wife won me a Masterbilt electric Smokehouse smoker. I look forward to meeting more of you and if I can ever share any advice with you I certainly will.
