its april 1st-----my traditional day it put plantlets
that i have grown from seed ,under grow lights,
out side in 5 gal buckets...
this is 1st tier--
every week another plant goes out side--[i start i peat pellet a week]
i do this all thru may---i can still lose if a unseasonal cold spell hits

i keep 3 buckets each

this year its 50/25/25--
50 % topsoil
25 % humus
25 % cheap potting soil..

they are california wonder variety

also i have cherry tomatoes

Sounds like you might get that little cold spell this week too.
Last year I helped my wife start her tomatoes. I didn't pay close enough attention to the seeds and ended up planting over 200 hundred cherry tomatoes.
