This is my 4th oven since I bought my Koda 12 when the pandemic hit. 4 months ago I bought an Ooni Karu 16 which is an absolutely amazing oven. This one has a rotating stone and an IR burner underneath, I love the idea of a rotating stone so I don't have to turn my pizzas. I loved my Karu, and will buy one again in the future when I can afford it. I wanted a few toy but unfortunatly can't afford multiply toys, so I sold my current one.

I have yet to make a pizza in it, but the people on pizzamaking.com forums who have one all love it. It's not the greatest oven to make Neopolitan pizzas in. But I do lower temp NY bakes anyways so it's perfect for me. Build quality's definitely not as good as the Karu 16, but it was $499 and the Karu's $799. This is Halo's 1st product so it's pretty impressive IMHO. I love how the gas knob's in the front, and the hinged lid will make cleaning it a breeze. The stone rotates at 3RPM, at least without a pizza on it. Pizza making snobs will probably think this is a weak and lazy way to make pizzas. I'm seeing it as a way to more evenly bake pizzas than I ever couple with my turning peel in another oven. And I've made a few hundred pizzas so it's not like I'm not capable, this will just be a lot easier and I can walk awaywhile the pizza bakes for 5-6 minutes to do other things instead of having to stand there and watch it like a hawk.
