Howdy. I've got an old stainless steel GOSM that I picked up from COSTCO probably 15 years ago. It's still going strong (converted it to natural gas last year) but the cast iron chip box is about done. I found a replacement for it online last year, but now can't locate the site. Anyone know where to find a replacement, or better yet a cheaper, maybe homegrown solution? Thanks.

I have a GOSM conversion from Charcoal to Propane, so never had a box. I just got a Pineapple juice can and punched a few holes in it and set it right down on my single burner propane stove. I add charcoal and wood chunks to it and it works great.

Thanks guys, great ideas - I'll probably try both.

Still, if anyone finds a chip box similar to the original one online, please send a link.

thanks.

Thanks, that's it. I had checked their site before posting and only a handful of parts were showing up for each smoker. Either they were having technical problems or I was just being dumb. Thanks,
