I found pork spare ribs for $2.19/lb. Good price or no dice? I have no experience in buying ribs so I'm asking the good people of SMF of their opinions. Thanks!

Not bad a'tall. I have caught a great sale at like 1.49- Hmm that was a while ago. Everything's going up now mainly due to fuel/transpo costs :{(

I can still by Smithfields fer 1.88 but don't know fer how long. Ain't nothin stayin low fer long. In yer area, that could be a good price.

Rich, everyone knows the high price of food is due to the production of ethanol! Would ya be interested in this slightly used bridge I have?

Baker's is where I found that price. I'm thinking of heading that way as well. There's one on 168th-ish and Center...right?

BJ'S in philly been $1.99 for a long time.Always 2 or 3 racks in a vacuum pack.
Sometimes a little cheaper in a local market.

I guess it really depends where you live. Generally in southern Canada, pork spares go for $2.99 a pound. Can get them on sale for $1.88 a pound if i am lucky.

Louisiana.....1.49 when on sale....1.99-2.19 regular. And sometimes they get crazy with the 2.99 per pound price. Currently, BB's are 5.49 per pound! Glad I stocked up at 2.49.

Yeah I think it is a few blocks west of 168th. Near the Lakeside Hospital. I am late getting back to this post, so you probably already found it. I just ended up buying some steaks to grill. Not enough time to smoke today
