I realize that this isn't necessarily smoking, but I just came across some old pix, and it kinda stood out as "Summertime Food". It looked so good that I thought I might share a few. For you old timers, you may have seen these before(dementia steals memory, so I don't really know), but I'm sure some of the newer folks haven't seen them and might enjoy.

So,without further ado, for your viewing pleasure:

And could it be complete w/o a big mess of turkey fries?

Hope you all enjoy. Perhaps it'll give a few some ideas for your weekend

Looks good except for the raw onions...

What are turkey fries? (Do I need to be afraid to ask?)

Raw sweet onions are better than sex.

And let's just say that turkey fries are one of the greatest delicacies known to man. If you're afraid of raw onions, I'd better not tell you much more than that.

Never heard of them either, assuming probably like what we call chicken fingers but with turkey.

I did not know that turkeys were...........well, that "blessed". Pheasants are very small, the size of a small pill. I guess turkeys are a bit bigger.

Thats just "nuts" SmokeyOky!

Your a "nut ball"! Or a plate of them as it seams!

I have fried a great many that made me jealous.

I'm thinking it's the part that makes a turkey a Tom or a Hen???

I just can't handle raw onion except on a hotdog with catsup only or sometimes in my chili. I fry em up for burgers...

OK..WHERE do you get a bunch of turkey ummmm... "danglers" unless you know someone with a turkey farm. Heck, you can't even find Rocky Mountain Oysters around here..

Hehehe... try raw sweet onions WITH sex... you ain't seen nothin' yet...

Bout the only thing I have a hard time eatting is tongue. Dad went and told me what it was one night and it really freaked me out. I can't eat something that's tasting me back!

Calf fries aren't bad but they're a litle strong. :Lamb and turkey are my faves.
