Out with the old girl, in with the new Lang 84... Well, just sold my pull behind cooker yesterday. This old gal and I have spent many great years together and have cooked everything from whole hogz, chickens, butts, turkeys, ribz, and even a few deer. We have one last cook this weekend of 80 lbs. of pork butts for a wedding party then its off to a new owner. I'm sure gonna miss her till the new Lang gets here.

Truly a sad day. It is like having to get rid of those jeans and shirt that seem to fit perfectly.... But then you get the new ones and after a few bonding sessions they are good to go....

Now the new bright and shiny you are getting.... I must say I am a jealous ....

That lang is going to be you new bestie in no time

You are going to love your Lang
Hope so. I have done a lot of research and decided to go with the Lang 84 with stainless steel grates. This one time hobby is now money in the bank and the need for a bigger cooker has been long over do. Kinda feel like a pimp cuz that old girl has made me some good money... lmao

Hope you got a good penny for her !!!
$1000,, Good enough for me on a very well used cooker / rotisserie. Could of gotten more if I waited till spring but now I don't have to store it for the winter. I live in the snow belt and selling a cooker now is like trying to sell a snowmobile in the spring. Good luck.

Cooknhogz-you are going to love your new Lang 84. I have the Lang 60 Deluxe and just love how well it cooks. Just so you're not surprised-these Langs cook a mite faster that a regular off-set smoker because of the convection of the reverse flow plate.

Cooking faster will be fine with me Dutch thats the way I like it when cooking large amounts of meat for crowds. Low and slow in my smoker for personal. I think I made the right choice going with Lang 84. Cant wait for the new toy.
