Nice.... where did you get them dino bones? I've looked in the Portland area and they all want $5+ per lb. for ones with little to no meat on them!

Safeway had them on sale around the first of the year. But if you ask the Butcher, they always have them
In the back in that two pack cryopac. Usually they will give them to you for a few pennies less since they don't have to cut them. Same with shoulders or anything else they get packed like that. Hidden secret they don't tell anyone.

So I was in Safeway the other day and noticed a few packs dino bones most had very little meat, but one actually had good meat. I asked the butcher about it and he said the ones with very little meat they get sent to them like that.... but when they have boneless rib-eye or prime rib on sale they trim the bones off themselves and the ones they trim actually have a lot more meat on the bones. So I guess the trick is to look for the boneless prime rib or rib eye sales.
