Gotta take Judy to the knee doctor today over on the coast in Clearwater, 2 hour drive each way.

She had a partial knee replacement over there a few years ago, and now the other knee is bothering her.

Good news is that the road to the doctors office has a Costco & a Sam's right across the street from each other.

So I'm taking a cooler & a bag of ice, just in case I find something interesting.

See you guys tomorrow.

Al

Good luck to Judy!

had a knee replacement about 3 years ago, and she is doing fine.

Judy seems pretty petite, so maybe you could push her in the basket at Sam's or Costco so she doesn't get tired.

Hope you both enjoy the ride!

Good luck to you both...JJ

Al, make sure you have room for Judy on the way home....   Those two stops can really fill a rig with "needed" stuff..

Just returned from Iowa where my dad had his 25 year old replaced knee replaced.

The crazy story - Doc said, "I've seen where people have worn through the polymer, and I've seen where people have worn into the metal parts and created an indentation.  But I've never seen anyone wear completely through the metal parts like your dad did!"  All is well now.

Good luck to you and Judy.

Good luck Ms Judy... Al.. I'm only a mile away from 275 where you cross the Skyway bridge ...

Good luck to y'all. I hope Judy comes out OK. I have had 2 total hip replacements and I feel her pain. Let us know how everything turns out. Joe

Good luck on all that Al and Judy!

Just getting a trick knee back to about 90% here after two years.  Hope I dodged the replacement for now.

Good luck and good smoking.

Wishing y'all the best of luck, with the knee and the shopping!  Take care.

Mike

Thanks for all the kind words fellows!

Doc says she needs a partial knee replacement.

She had the same thing done on her other knee about 7 or 8 years ago. It's still just like new.

She got it scheduled for the second week in April.

It's crazy she goes in to the hospital in the morning, they fix her knee & I throw her in the truck in the afternoon, same day & home we go.

As far as finding something good at Sam's or Costco, no luck.

I was looking for a full brisket, neither store had them, but I did pick up a couple of bottles of Johnny Walker.

Thanks again for thinking of us!

Al

Good luck to you all, hope it's routine.  Definitely load up on some bulk items while you're there.
