When our chocolate lab was young I shot guns around him all the time, then 1 day if I picked 1 up he would disappear, you would find him setting in the shower, same thing if neighbor shoots, not sure what caused it, the young folks on 1 side got on a shooting spree for awhile and I suspect a lot to do with it. I would think holding the cat would be similar to shooting a gun off while setting on a horse that never had a gun shot of it lmao
