Gloria didn't want to be a hog...

Gloria made a good score on some meat sales today. Ralphs had a sale on Pork Spareribs for .99¢ lb. and boneless Chuck roast for $1.77 lb.

When she asked the counter person for the ribs, he told her that they made a mistake And had ordered BB’s instead. The guy gave her a rain check for the spares, and then the manager told her she could have the BB’s for .99¢ lb.

Gloria said she didn’t want to be a hog (her words), so she bought five racks of BB’s. She figured we could still make out on the spares. She also found a couple of nice boneless chuck roast at $1.77 lb., and she bought two.





After thanking her for the find, I asked her to take me shopping the next time she acts on a sale… I’ll be a hog.

That's an awesome find, my wife would have done the same thing and not want to look like a Hog.......even though she is from Razorback country (Arkansas).

I’m with Jerry they would have heard the yell all the way back to FLA, and it would have been me with a smile on my face!

Wow that was a great find. I thought 1.99 for BB was good but, .99 blows that away. For that price I would have bought up 100lbs! As the cheapest I normally find bb's for is 4 bucks or less.

Heck, at that price I'd still be loading BB in my pick-up; and probably asked for a rain check on more BB's. LOL

If that was my wife the bumper would been dragging the ground for all the meat. Then I would have gotten a call tell me to bring the other truck. We are fat kids.
