Glazier Frankfurters

Found some quarter pound Glazier franks!
Never saw them that size before.

Glazier's are very good.
They are made in Northern New York.
They also make excellent pickled eggs and pickled sausage.

Oh, heck yeah! I see them once in awhile too. They are great dogs. And the regular ones do make real good pickled sausages.

My usual dog is Costco 1/4 pound dinner franks. They are longer so not as round as @thirdeye posted.

Cooked one in a very lightly oiled pan until charred and the casing split.

Put it on a toasted sub roll and topped it with spicy brown mustard and dill relish.

Simple but delicious!

I’m a transplanted Northern New Yorker now In NEPA. I was living about 25 miles from the original place where these are made. Yummy!! A little mustard and/or relish with chopped raw onion was the way I liked them and still do!

Is that a Glazier? The thing is huge!

I don't recall what brand it was , but it was a great hot dog. We sliced it and dipped it in mustard.

Now that's my size of hotdog, instead of asking for 3 or 4 and getting dirty looks , with those i could just say 2 please with the works and i would be happy ( the Misses can't get mad if i only had 2 hotdogs while making supper )

Homemade from a recipe. Kinda PITA because I emulsify. The final product is just outstanding though.
