As i am currently looking to upgrade my thermometer it would a giant leap forward for me and my pit boss vertical smoker and the little 18 n deep by 36 in wide mobile smoker. That's getting used for amateur events this fall. and i am her in the Good Ole Southern USA

I have a Maverick wireless thermometer that recently died. I've been shopping around for a replacement as a birthday present for myself next month. I would use mine for smoking on a Weber Smokey Mountain and grilling on a Weber 22" Kettle. My favorite things to smoke are pork butts, spare ribs, and tri-tips.

The four probes really interest me, because I often cook multiple types of meat and like to monitor the smoker/grill temp as well. I also like to smoke pork butts overnight, so being able to set an alert if the smoker temp falls too low overnight would be really nice and something that I couldn't do with my old Maverick.

I have been looking at thermometer as I currently only have the built it probe with my Pit Boss. This would be used as a check to what I have and add the ability to monitor more items than I currently can. Would also be able to use it on my Weber as the old Pampered Chef thermometer I was using seems to have given up the ghost.

Got my thermometer yesterday. Thanks! This gadget rocks. It is dead on accurate. And the response/refresh rate is super fast. The temps shown are different because I just touched them. That's how fast they respond!
