The turkey legs have just been put into the brine, getting ready to smoke tomorrow. I am trying out Jeff’s maple glaze turkey legs. I’ll smoke them over apple.

While getting ready, we made sandwiches from the tri-tip I smoked this week. It was my first attempt with beef, and it came out very good. We toasted them with smoked cheddar and horseradish. Add a bottle of Washington Syrah and oh so good!

Here they are. They came out great. We love the spicy maple glaze! I am very pleased for our first time with turkey. I have a few notes for next time, but am very pleased. I have a couple without glaze for soup tomorrow.
