This app is quite cool! We were looking for info in SCTAT cancer and it’s hard to find. Gemini whipped it right up! Pretty cool.

Give it a rip

Sometimes, AI uncovers obscure and useful info you might not have found otherwise, sometimes it suggests making DIY 'aromatic water mix' that is actually a recipe for deadly chlorine gas. It can be completely accurate, completely inaccurate, or just inaccurate enough to waste your time and resources, but it is always completely certain of itself.

Verify and double-check ANYTHING that it tells you.

In fact, I like to use udm14.com to specifically search *without* AI, because I simply do not trust its answers and don't care for the companies expending all that extra energy.

AI's are neat and helpful in many uses. I agree with @Torch&Tone, be sure to ask for and verify the sources it pulls it's info from and those sources should be legit.

Basically it's best to treat AI like we would/should treat a person when it comes to this stuff. The age old practice is to get the cited sources and verify the sources are good, though people rarely do this today with other humans and have lost the ability to understand what even is a legit respectable source. Most people get what they think are facts, news, and useful information from social media these days, and that is a very bad thing hahahaha.

Glad you found it useful and found the info you were looking for.

I had to get a new phone in Dec. and it has it on there but have not ventured into using it yet. Maybe give it a spin this weekend.

I distrust AI, but it seems to be being forced upon us whether we want it or not. That said, I have found it somewhat useful lately with my research into prostate cancer treatment options.

Yep, I append "Provide Sources" to every ai inquiry I make. And then I go and actually check those sources of the info is important
