G'day from Australia

  1. Hi there. I'm from Melbourne, Australia and love slow cooking, dehydrating, and of course smoking any and all kinds of meat. We've just bought an orchard full of fruit trees and I'm rapt that we can make smoking chips out of every single type of tree we have :)

Looking forward to learning even more from this forum

G'day mate, and welcome to the forums from another noob

Always had a real desire to live in Australia, but too danged old and busted up to undertake such an adventure now.  For many years the wife and I bred reptiles and specialized in species from Australia.  Jungle Carpet Pythons and Acanthurus (Spiny tailed) Monitors were my favorites.

Happy Smokin' and don't forget the Qview[IMG]

[IMG]to SMF!  We are so glad you joined us! Fruit woods are great for smoking foods!

If you didn't read the "Terms of Service" notes.....please do.  There are a few things that everyone should know about those pesky little rules before plunging into the forums and some guidelines of how to interact within the forums. Off site links are not allowed here at SMF per Jeff. Not that you have done anything wrong....just a little bit of FYI for new members!

If you need any help roaming around the forums....just holler!  Happy to help out!
