My sweet wife came home from the local butcher with a beautiful chuck roast (she says I cant have it) and a big ol box of frozen frog legs. Cool! Im thinkin about fryin when my son says how bout smokin some? Well I told him that they might get kinda dry (although I was already thinkin about brine vs marinade) and he pipes up "Check it out on your forum. Surley one of those guys knows what to do". Yeah he looks kinda dumb but he can surprise me sometimes...

I would worry about em jumping outta the smoker myself.........

BWAHAHAHAHAHA..........i KILL myself sometimes..............

About the only word of advice is not to oversmoke them (think chicken) they take the smoke real well.

I make tin foil boats and lay the frog legs in garlic butter and spices and put them on the smoker. Flip a couple times for smoke to hit each side. Do Not overcook!!!! Moisture from the butter keeps froglegs moist & tender. Deep frying some legs is a sure fire method also.

That sounds like a tasty way to do them Scott...thanks! Now if I can find my gig. :)
