Bagged me a turkey they other day after work, and smoked it today after a good soak in slaughterhouse brine.

I injected it with butter and McCormick's Rotisserie Chicken Seasoning. Then sprinkled the outside with lemon zest, and SPOG.  put it over mesquite and let the TBS do it's magic...

Had great flavor. A little dry, but not too bad. I think injecting it helped some. I'll try wrapping in bacon next time. Yes, there will be a next time!

That looks absolutely marvelous. I would have no problem eating it.

I get wild turkeys in my front yard all the time.

I'm just not a hunter so I leave them be.
