So I had some leftover prime rib from Xmas eve. Sadly, it wasn't smoked, my parents friends has a restaurant with some kinda fancy prime rib ovens. Needless to say it was good first time around, but I decided to put some smoke into the leftovers.
I started with about a 2 Inch steak, and sliced it thin. Then I thawed out some of chef Jimmy's au jus, and heated the meat up over low heat in a skillet filled with au jus
Then I bought a couple mini loaves of chibata bread and cut them into buns. I put the meat on and put some chunks of provolone on top, then slid them under the broiler.
All ready to go
Delicious, I may have to make a rib just for the leftovers!
