What I had for dinner last eve. It's more of a taco salad than say nacho's cause it has all the makings (well in my opinion) of a taco plus a salad.
First fried hamburger and mixed in modified store bought taco seasoning.
Fried up some wedged cut corn tortillas.
Made a bed of chips for meat. Added shredded lettuce top of that, then shredded cheddar, a few olives, half a avocado, then salsa (herdez) a couple serrano's on the side...chased with a cold one.

Just go with deconstructed taco... that's the thing right?!

either way, I could go for a plate of those right now! Excellent choice with the Herdez. For off the shelf jar stuff, it is really good.

I usually eat mine very similar. I'll rip up a soft tortilla and add to the mix. Then use a shovel (fork) to eat.

I expected a story of a taco breaking apart when I saw the title.. lol

Looks great to me! Can never go wrong with a taco in any form!

Sometimes I go soft tortillas, but most time cause I like the crunch go the hard route. Fork and tortilla chips to shovel even faster.:emoji_laughing:

Looks really good from here. We sometimes make a very similar taco salad, usually just with store bought tortilla chips but occasionally with fried soft tortilla pieces. It is a great meal for a hot summer eve.
